About Jessica
A therapist who meets you in the fullness of who you are.
I'm Jessica Raybon (she/her), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. My practice is rooted in the belief that healing is possible — and that you deserve a space where your identity, your history, and your nervous system are all taken seriously.
I work from an intersectional, trauma-informed lens that centers cultural humility and deep respect for lived experience. My somatic training means we don't just talk about what's happening — we pay attention to how it lives in your body, too. Whether you're navigating racial trauma, identity, relationship dynamics, burnout, or just a sense that something needs to shift, I'm here to walk alongside you with care and intention.
I received my Master's in Clinical Psychology with a Somatic Concentration from Antioch University Santa Barbara, and I hold licenses as both an LMFT and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). I'm a proud member of CAMFT and hold certification in counseling for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault survivors.

Philosophy & Approach
How I work with you in the room.
I believe that healing happens in relationship — and that the therapeutic relationship itself is part of the medicine. From our very first session, my goal is to create a space where you don't have to manage how you show up. The good, the messy, the parts you haven't said out loud yet. All of it is welcome here.
I use an integrative approach, which means I draw from multiple frameworks to meet your specific needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. My somatic training allows me to bring in movement, breath, and body-based awareness when you're caught in a cognitive spiral — because sometimes the body knows what the mind can't yet articulate.
I work from an intersectional, feminist lens that acknowledges how systems — racism, heteronormativity, capitalism, ableism — shape our nervous systems and our sense of self. Your identity is never a footnote here. It's central to the work.
"Your lived experience matters, and your voice leads the way. I'm here to walk alongside you... not ahead of you."

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. Learn more at CMS.gov →
